I have run a small business for 25 years-Yelp posted a review written by a disgruntled family member which was very negative about me. All the positive reviews that people have sent in have not been posted so when someone looks up the name of my business they see one horrible negative review. I have contacted YELP in the ways they have allowed and got no response. They allow people to be... Read more

Yelp is trying to extort money form businesses in order to defend false allegations. They hide under the first amendment and allow false reports from blood thirsty agenda seeking thugs that have personal vendettas against a business or person. My family Daycare has had two false reviews that I have flagged and been told that they will not remove. They are clearly fake names and reviews and I know... Read more

Just figured it out - Yelp's biased method regarding reviews. * Yelp lists good reviews (4-5 stars) on sites where the business buys services from Yelp. * Tough Luck on the business that does not spend their money on Yelp's services. * Yelp lists bad reviews (stars 1-2) with rarely 4 or 5 star reviews to keep the star rating at less than 3 or 4, regardless if the reviewer is a Yelp member or... On June 17th, I posted a review on the site of the new nutritionist that I had seen a view weeks earlier. She was wonderful and has helped me so I posted five stars. Yelp then removed my review and even after attempts to reach them by phone or e-mail is impossible or they don't respond. I saw that Yelp had removed other good reviews and placed them at the page's end... Read more

I posted positive comments on a bar that I like (Woody's Cantina) that recently reopened under new management. They have one old one-star review (which was approved) and 4 more recent 4 star positive reviews, yet none of the new reviews are recommended by yelp. I've posted other similar reviews at other places with no problems. It seems to be arbitrary and the reason I am pissed off is that I... Read more

Yelp Reviews, which ever way the wind blows. I left a 5-star review for a dental surgeon in Stamford which displayed as others. A few days later it was moved by Yelp to a section at the bottom of their page which stated my review was not currently recommended. Two days later they pulled my review from said section and put it back to a visible position on the page. I reviewed a car service center... Read more

After MANY years of posting on various subjects/business's....all of a sudden YELP removes all (4) of my reviews, after a new one was posted on a California business, they are located in California, I'm in Texas. If YELP is unaware of internal affairs, I'm thinking YELP has someone working within taking bribes to assist the Business Owners perhaps unknown to them ??....they can't be contacted... Read more

Just opened up a business on May 1st 2015 and I already have a bad review that was supposed to be posted in February. How can that be? Add comment

Yelp told me they wouldn't only charge $79. It ended up $522 for April!! It panicked me so I decided to change my credit card information. I sent them an email to cancel my *** yelp account. They charged me again $549 (May) + $700 (cancelation fee) =$1249!!! I can't pay my rent! I am desperate! I just want them to give my money back. they can post all the bad reviews they want, I don't care... Read more
