My complaint is about Business Owner Support on Yelp. I created a new page with my Service/Business name.

However after I had been approved and listed my page on Yelp - some part of the business name has disappeared. So I called to the support representative to ask whats happened with my business name? They started to say that my NAME is not matching my web site name. I responded that I wondering what exactly does not match...

She said - key words are incorrect. I responded that all the kew words was carefully chosen for my web site, optimization made and each page reviewed by my admin. So she started getting angry and said then - me need to pay for my profile page to have changes done. I responded - I'll think for this in future but now I have to see my page and business name ready to be upgraded first.

So please fix my name on the page!!! No, she said she has no time to speak with me any more. But in order to fix my name she invented another reason - and requested to send her copy of my business license! I answered - no one in same category have business license!

In other words - musicians who advertised they services on Yelp , so am I as well - we are not licensed professionals. But she said - until you provide me your license I ll not fix your name! She got pissed off and hang the phone. Now I clearly understand - this customer support agents are trained ONLY to get money from customers.

SO they doing impossible things to invent circumstances which convince you to pay them for your listing. No opportunity to find support, or justice, or logically solve the issue. Very disappointed.

And in compliment - there is no option to contact supervisor or escalate conflict in this company. They only returning you to the main persona - same rude and unpleasant page representative(((

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

This sounds very similar to what I experienced. The first person gave me excuses that didn't make any logical sense for why my positive reviews were being hidden.

Then when I asked to speak with his supervisor, a rude young woman got on the phone and said that there was nothing anyone could do to help me. When I didn't accept that excuse, she got angry and said she "didn't have time to speak with me anymore" and hung up on me!
